    TUTORIAL: FULL TRANSPARENT PERMALINKS

    I’ve received quite a few asks about the hovering permalinks on my theme Rhea. So here is a quick and easy way to achieve this.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Firstly you must add position: relative; into your #entry (it could also appear as #posts or something similar).

    Then add one of these codes anywhere between <style type=”text/css”> and </style>

    Finally, add one of these codes at the beginning of your posts. It should look something like this:

    <div id=”content”>
    {Block:Posts}
    <div id=”entry”>
    Code Here
    {block:Text}

    COMMENTS

    That’s it! You’re finished! Just be sure to change the width in #perma_hold to your post size and you should be fine. Feel free to customize it more if you feel comfortable, but be aware that I won’t be helping if you mess something up.

    I was looking for fonts recently and fell in love with many, so I figured I’d compile all my favorites. Some of them require a tweet or Facebook post to download. All credit goes to their respective makers.

    how do you get your content and stuff to fade in, like on your main blog? thank you so much erin, your themes are lovely.

    trenzathemes:

    I used CSS3 animations and keyframes! Pretty much what you need to do is use this code:

    @-webkit-keyframes fadeIn { from { opacity:0; } to { opacity:1; } }
    @-moz-keyframes fadeIn { from { opacity:0; } to { opacity:1; } }
    @keyframes fadeIn { from { opacity:0; } to { opacity:1; } }

    .fade-in {
    opacity:0;
    -webkit-animation:fadeIn ease-in 1;
    -moz-animation:fadeIn ease-in 1;
    animation:fadeIn ease-in 1;
    -webkit-animation-fill-mode:forwards;
    -moz-animation-fill-mode:forwards;
    animation-fill-mode:forwards;
    -webkit-animation-duration:1s;
    -moz-animation-duration:1s; animation-duration:1s; }

    .fade-in.one { -webkit-animation-delay: 0.7s; -moz-animation-delay: 0.7s; animation-delay: 0.7s; }

    Paste the above code anywhere inside of <style type=css> and </style>

    If you want it to fade slower or faster just adjust the seconds in the CSS. (eg: 0.4s, 0.8s, 1s, 1.5s, and so on)

    Now to apply it! Locate the container that holds everything. It should be labeled <div id=”container”> or something along those lines. You’re going to add a class to the div tag.

    class="box fade-in one"

    You are going to add that class to your container and sidebar div tags like so:

    <div id ="sidebar" class="box fade-in one">

    (remove the space between the equal sign and id..tumblr is being weid and wouldnt show the code) And that’s it! It’s super easy to do and creates a cool effect! I hope this is all makes sense! If not ask me with whatever questions you may have.
